Jodhpur, 18 January. National Education Policy aligning with Bharat's culture and nature is essential for developing an effective educational foundation: Dr. Virendra Solanki. Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad's two day Central Working Committee meeting commences today at Raghuvanspuram Ashram in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. The meeting will feature in depth discussions on topics of education, society, organization, environment, culture, sports and social service along with plans for upcoming initiatives. A total of 102 representatives from across the country are participating in the meeting. The CWC meeting also witnessed the presence of Rashtriya Swyamsevak Sangh’s Sah Sarkaryawah Shri Mukund C. R.
The discussions during the meeting included current educational, national and social issues, planning and structure for the "Vichaar Baithak 2025", review of 70th ABVP National Conference(2024-2025) and other issues related to students. Framework for 'Parisar Chalo Abhiyan' , 75 years of Republic of India, 200th Birth Anniversary of Swami Dayanand Saraswati, 500th birth anniversary of Rani Durgavati, and centenary year of RSS and other essential activities was also laid out. Organizational tasks, curriculum reforms in universities, and suggestions for plans for the upcoming years (2025-26 and 2026-27) were discussed. Additionally, membership campaigns and progress of college units were reviewed. ABVP’s National General Secretary Dr. Virendra Solanki said, “For the session 2024-2025, a total of 57,82,877 students joined ABVP nationwide. This marks an increase of approximately 8 lakh members compared to the previous year. On the first day of meeting, several key education related topics were deliberated upon. Issues such as irregularities in educational institutions across the country, implementation of NEP, fee hikes in educational institutions and improving quality of education were deeply discussed.
ABVP’s National President Prof. Rajsharan Shahi stated, "Integration of Indian knowledge system and cultural value is the need of hour." Stressing on the effective implementation of NEP he added, It must be developed in lines with Bharat's nature and culture.
ABVP National General Secretary Dr.Virendra Solanki stated,This Central Working Committee meeting will discuss the direction and scope of the student movement and explore ways to encourage youth to actively participate in nation-building. This meeting will be a significant step towards organizing youth and strengthening their contributions to nation's growth. Furthermore, workshops will be organized to enhance the skill set, thereby empowering organization’s functioning. In the era of technological advancement, students will be inspired to play a leading role in the fields of technology and innovation. The organization will prioritize technical awareness and digital programs. Additionally, youth will also be encouraged towards self employment and startups to become self reliant
The ABVP CWC Meeting will prove to be a strong standing point in the fields of education, society, culture and organization. Organization aims to prepare students for leadership and bring about a positive change to establish Bharat as a strong and prosperous nation.
